The first half today was abysmal, but the 2nd half was pretty good. You just knew though that Freo was never going to take the lead, no matter how hard they tried. The umpires would never allow it.

It was good though watching the karma bus run Ballantyne over, and then keep on reversing and running him over again and again. Worst grand final effort I've seen since Matty Stokes in 2008, but at least Stokesy had an excuse.

It was a memorable moment. But the biggest memory I have of that game was just how shit everything was in skills execution and decision making, and how heavy the negating tactics were used by Sydney.

I agree, it wasn't a great GF considering it was only Fremantle the oppoment, and just Hawthorn yet again. This lead-up is much better than the actual game.
