This is about soccer. In Bulgaria. With two teams fighting and the fans got involved.

Nothing to do with the present situation unless you are saying "somewhere in the world fans HAVE invaded the pitch and chased players off the field".

Which has nothing to do with this anyway.
OK, Chief, if you don't see anything provocative in the 'war dance' then we beg to differ.

It has nothing to do with him being indigenous, it is just him. He is a person just like everybody else, why should it matter that he is indigenous?
So because he is indigenous, everybody should automatically love the bloke.
You my friend, are a fool.

Woooooooooooooooooooooooshhhhhhhhhhh.
Ya missed the point my friend.
I'll explain it again for your benefit:
People say " I boo Goodes because he is a sniper etc"
Then they proceed to tell us things like;
(a) his AOTY speech
(b) his imaginery spear throwing brings great harm to their souls.
(c) Furthermore Goodes is a sook and "I" don't like people that whinge about things not going their way, I mean, who does that? (***cough cough***)
(d) the AFL is forcing clubs to put out message of acceptance and intolerance of villification.
(e) he shouldn't get upset at being called an ape.
(f) 13 year olds don't know anything and they should not be sanctioned for their behaviour.
(g) and the latest....When asked about his return to football Goodes made it all about himself. Me. Me. Me. He talked about the issue like it had something to do with the issue that made him take a break from football, I mean seriously how galling.

Resorting to vitriol is not a good look!!

The article link I posted was not in the UK. I was merely demonstrating that we cannot dismiss the possibility of someone in the crowd taking offence at a 'war dance' and jumping the fence.
Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I'm sure those 40,000 west coast fans were terrified of the single skinny many with empty hands 100 metres away
It's not about being scared it's about inciting the crowd. A player incites the crowd with a celebration fair enough but then don't complain when they boo said player because that's all the crowd can do legally (not anymore?????) in retaliation to the inciting incident.

11 frees this year.

There are far dirtier.

What else you got?
Nice selective quoting.. We we're talking about why Goodes wasn't liked. I linked an article from 2008 and said football fans have long memories also in that post.

You fanboys seem to have selective memories, no wonder we're in this mess.

So it's Jetta's fault? Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Anyone who does anything to incite the crowd deserves whatever they get as long as it's not racial abuse.

I'd hate to see how Goodes' would have reacted if he had received the kind of actual racist abuse the likes of Jackie Robinson got back in the day.
Like being called an ape and being told to go back to the zoo?

I think you may have missed my point, I am saying that the fact that he is indigenous has nothing to do with the fact that I personally don't like the bloke.
My view is just that he is a tosser. In saying that though, I believe you can have a dislike for a person and not be a spiteful prick, which sadly this constant booing is making people seem.
Should he be cheered by every person when he touches the ball? NO
Should he be constantly booed every time he touches the ball? No, surely as "football lovers" we are better than that.
Like the guy or not, just let him play the game we all enjoy, because seriously, it is making our game seem petty and our fans foolish.
