Overcast skies all morning but so far no rain today. Definitely a lot of moisture in the air however and with the pitch preparation I'd imagine it'll be green with not as much characteristic firmness so the first session will definitely be interesting. Good toss to lose I'd say.

The Paine decision was to refer a LBW that pitched 2 feet outside off, it didn't even hit him in line, and Cummins himself told him there is no way it pitched in line.

Could be a good toss to lose, like you said.

I'd probably almost be less nervous bowling first up than having Harris out there in these conditions.

First two days fair bit of rain is predicted but if we get some play those two days result is still likely with two struggling batting lineups, last 3 days don't look horrible.

My eyes will be on Pat Cummins, I want to see him captain, set the field, make the bowling changes. Disgrace if his just the man given the title because they weren't game to cop the backlash with Smith getting it again, I don't want to see Smith being the main man in disguise.

The fact Starc is left handed is keeping him in the side, has been woeful last 18 months. This is his defining series, another shocker here dare say they move forward with Jhye Richardson but Englands batting is weak and Starc generally goes well against the weaker batting sides so I predict he'll average low 20s this series.
