I don't know who AC supports but it must be one of those sides where the players dictate everything, Raul will start when Kenny says so, I think that's fair given he is the manager. Who are you to say Raul would have had the legs to make the assist late in the game if he started v Arsenal?

Pacheco has been loaned to Atletico who in turn loaned him to newly promoted Rayo Vallecano. Weird stuff goes on in Spain but it is a smart move from Atletico .

After Coates is signed we pretty much have our squad settled. Need to focus on getting rid of Poulsen (Stoke apparently) Cole (Spuds/QPR rumors) and Insua possibly (although if Insua stays I won't mind too much).

Happy to take Bellend off City for free as a squad player but only offer him 40k a week + add ons if he scores / plays. Not paying him 100k like City does.

He wouldn't move if he has to drop his salary. FWIW he's not on £100k a week.

Professional performance from us, did what we had to do. Could have won by more but took the foot off after going 3-0 up and slowed things right down. Suarez was superb. Fair hit from Carroll too which hopefully gives him some confidence.

On another note, we officially have the loudest fans: http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/latest-news/it-s-official-lfc-fans-are-the-loudest

Full table: 1 Liverpool 97 decibels; 2 Man Utd 94; 3 Aston Villa 89; 4 Everton 86; 5 Blackpool 85; 6 Stoke 83; 7 Newcastle 82; 8 West Ham 81; 9 Chelsea 80; 10 Sunderland 80; 11 Arsenal 77; 12 Wigan 72; 13 Man City 71; 14 Tottenham 70; 15 Blackburn 67; 16 Birmingham 70; 17 Bolton 69; 18 Wolves 69; 19 West Brom 67; 20 Fulham 65.

He's on 95k a week sorry :)

Bellamy is a lifelong Liverpool fan, if we offer him a deal with a low base salary with heaps of add ons for appearances and goals etc etc he may just go for it.

Suarez was in very nice touch last night. If he keeps this up I might actually have someone worthy of filling the mancrush position left vacant when you know who went to you know where.

He won't. Remember with his knees he's no guarantee of being available throughout the season, and he struggled to get a game week in week out last time around when you had a far better squad.

And he's already said that he wouldn't take a paycut to move anywhere including his team Cardiff.

Ryal Babel to Wolfsborg?

Oh Babelcopter..... how you are missed.

No thanks on Bellamy unless he takes a paycut. Im not sure we are after him anyway, he is outside of what Henry wants to do. Young players with re-sale value. I still think we will move for a striker though before the window is out, particularly if N'Gog leaves.

Aquilani is gone, frustrating, am I the only one who see's how good he is?? Another loan deal again, he is unsellable.

The difference between what we started last year with Woy to now
Torres -> Carroll

Jones -> Doni
Kyrgiakos -> Coates
Jovanovic -> Downing
Aquillani -> Adam
ElZhar -> Henderson

Definitely a stronger side this year :thumbsu:

Bellamy is a good deal only on the basis of a pay cut / no transfer fee. A possibility would be us paying 65% of his wages and City picking up the rest (similar to the Power/Leeds/City deal).

Agree that Aqua is quality, he just isn't suited to the EPL.

I doubt we'll ever know what the problem was. Did he decide **** this club because of how he was treated under the stupid regime? Does he actually love the club but his wife wears the pants and demands a life in Italy? Does he bawl his eyes out at night thinking about Roma and their fans? Who knows and who cares anymore. I don't buy "not suited to EPL" considering he scored, assisted and looked good when he played. My guess is that he knows he's 28 soon and probably wouldn't stay at an English club long even if he was killing it.
