Sharp 15.6km for 4 possessions!

A lot of unrewarded running running, either running to the wrong areas, or we weren't able to bring him into the game or Bulldogs were able to shut him out of the game.
Whoever made this figure clearly can't count.

The Launceston thing is ****ed.
We are bloody 20 years into regularly going down there. WTF is wrong with the club hierarchy?
West coast and freo should just say no, we aren’t going there. End of story. Refuse to fulfil the fixture.
It’s farcical we are sent down there. Would be nearly easier get to Thailand from Perth. Do they go direct nowadays to Launceston? Used to always include a stop in Melbourne.
It's literally a shorter flight than Sydney and Brisbane and barely longer than Melbourne. Yes all flights are direct. This is a non issue

I disagree - It's not only about the minutes on the plane. If we're playing MCG or Marvel it's the exact same routine each time - same hotels, captains run venue, team locker rooms, playing field. Becomes more familiar to our players and allows us to iron out the process to be as seamless as possible. Getting shipped all over the country for one off games is the opposite of that.

Didn't we just win by 92 points at a ground we have never played at before and then get our cheeks clapped by 11 goals at Marvel the following game?

That's not the point. It's about reducing the competitive disadvantage we face, and the accumulative burden of the travel every second week over the course of an entire season. To cherry pick the last two games is disingenuous.

Or you could look at it as we are playing an away game where the home team isn't at it's usual home.

The direct commercial flight to Launny from Perth would barely be twice a week… often more in summer than July when our club needs it, and I don’t reckon they started those direct flight till very recent years.
Maybe the team fly on chartered planes (I’m not sure about this?) now but they definitely didn’t not that long ago.
If it’s a direct chartered flight it’s not an issue like you say, but that is a very recent development if so.
It’s also not much use to our fans but the AFL don’t give a crap about them anyway

Pretty sure its a charter flight and has been for a few years now, it was a massive issue in the past where they would have to get to Melbourne then another flight to Tassie.

Our record in Tassie is 2-12, while Hawks are running at 27-1-9. I'd take them at the G every day of the week.
I'll give you Alice but a sample size of 1 is hardly good data.

Hawks have been very good for most of that time so their record would have been the same at any venue, my point is still you can't say its a disadvantage to us when we are playing an away game at a venue that isn't the home teams main ground. Regardless of results that is not a bad thing.

Our record v Geelong in Geelong is actually pretty good but I would prefer to play them at the G and I'm sure the club would feel the same. We have Essendon at the G this year which seems like a good deal given their home ground is Marvel.
