Set shots yes. Don't know what happened to that free kick he got 48m out on about 45 degrees in the 3rd quarter and he didn't make the distance. Maybe some fatigue at the time.

But that bloody shot running into goal from 20-25m out on a 45 degree angle and he hammered a checkside kick on his right and it went out of the full and would have been the sealer, was an absolute shocker. He could have steadier and kicked normally. yes by the time he kicked it the saints player almost got to him

Yeah, he had a couple of wayward kicks fo goal but 4 straight with I reckon two of those goal being set shots he wouldn't normally nail is a very good return. He also created a couple of turnover goals with scrambling. I was actually surprised at how bad St Kilda were getting the ball out of defence early.

I really should've had him in my votes. He was best forward on the ground by a large distance.

Gloves are banned? I knew certain types of gloves were prohibited, but now all of them?

I remember a game in Darwin under Primus where he insisted the entire team wear gloves and sweatbands lol.

They're not banned, they're just limited. They have to be AFL approved and the grip can't be any more than a human hand.

The ones Tredders, Fraser Gehrig and Travis Cloke etc were wearing back in the day had a more grip and got banned in 2013.

Get rid of the restrictions IMO. As long as it's not a foreign substance it should be legal. Like the NFL rules.

Travis Cloke always maintained that the glove Hutchy wore on the footy show that time in his demonstration was not the same as the one he wore.

I believe this year is even worse than previous seasons.

Would be pretty funny if we tried to simulate late game goal kicking for our players and got them to practice that more which has now instead traumatised them even more.

100% agree Ken is the constant. But at some point in the next couple of years Port will have to make another personnel change to pretend they're being ruthless, if that is Chad and he gets the arse surely his little brother will finally get at least the slightest but critical of the regime?

What I'm saying is, if Chad gets fired in the next 5 years maybe Kane will feel free to criticise Ken in 10 years, and maybe the rest of the AFL media will follow suit in 15 years, and maybe Koch will actually follow through with sacking him after 20 years. Part of me is glad we haven’t been accurate and the facade of being a contender isn’t there. Even if we were second we all know what would happen come finals and the real pressure comes.

Best we get flogged as much as possible so this fraud can exit asap and we start again, with hope at least.
