I would love to know if there's any connection at all with the a__shots/Keegan Kline stuff
Initial indications don't seem to show a connection. If it really was an anonymous tip which led to the Wabash River search and there's no connection, that is an insane amount of bad luck. What are the odds a known creep is catfishing a future murder victim and then the girls are attacked by a completely separate creep?

It’s a huge coincidence. Allen is a similar age to Kline senior, who Keegan Kline said could have accessed the Anthony Shots account.
It will be fascinating to find out if there is a link to Kline, and particularly whether Kline has rolled over on Allen as part of his negotiations. Or whether it turns out to be one of those weird loose ends that just can’t be explained.

I was listening to a podcast that said Allen and Kline both lived in Peru now I’m not sure if that’s a city or they meant the country.
There was a person on Reddit who spent a year or so working with him at the local CVS. Had nothing but good things to say about the guy. Apparently he was a really nice guy to be around, they were very shocked to hear about his arrest.
She said that there was a "wanted" picture hung up in the store with the drawing of the guy wanted for the murder. They said he seemingly wasn't phased by it at all.
Assuming he's the guy that did it, great work by those cops to make the arrest 5 years on.

My guess, either:
1. Family member or close friend who knew the truth caved in and went to police, which led to the search of the river, a familial DNA sample and an arrest.
2. The creep who was arrested on child pr0n charges (forgot his name) knew the suspect and decided to tell all in an attempted for a lesser sentence.

Probable cause is something I think about everybody in the US expects to be information routinely made available so I'm not surprised a journalist asked a question around the sealing of all documents being very unusual.
Setting his bail at $20 million seems to suggest they're really confident they have the right man. Strange presser.

The police kept saying he's been arrested but not once did they say charged. In USA does arrested = charged?
