Like I didn't expect to see anything different but seeing their 2022 2023 schedule laid out in print did just make me laugh.

Rinse and repeat the same stale formula year after year. Every man and his dog could come up with a better schedule so either it works (doubtful) or they are just so in the red that they don't have money to do anything even remotely different.

In the red are they?
What version of 'they' is that Warsaw?

Money isn't the issue. Complacency is. Same faces since 2012 and largely the old crew from pre-2012 too (both on and off screen).
Other than our enthusiasm from season to season what is ever different ?
How us 2012 relevant?
I understand your complacency comment, though I'd describe it as stale & trying to reinvent the same product that isn't really changing.

Dunno if I'm breaking any rules about posting articles, but it's free advertising for them so I can't see how they can complain. I, on the other hand, have many complaints about the following:

Come on mate, I thought you were better than this.

2012 was when Fox Footy (504) was launched and they signed a slate of new faces to complement the few they had working for the 3 Fox Sports games a week they produced between 2002-2011. Since the, those same faces have largely stayed with few leaving and few joining ....

Take you on your word. I've had Fox forever as a result of living in Vic & barracking for the Eagles.
Even with your prompting 2012 still doesn't ring any bells with me.
If anything I'd measure it with On the Couch with the strength of Healy/Matthews & Blight versus the likes of Lyon, Brown & Reynolds.
Footy royalty v footy TV celebrity.
I have no intention of cancelling, & also enjoy other sport, e.g the India test today, the F1 coverage this weekend.

No smug mcguire, I like.

Curnow kicks 2 goals in a preseason flogging by Sydney.

Ben Dixon thinks he'll kick 100 goals this year.
