We have a surplus of tall forwards, I suggest play Finlayson on a wing where he could assist in the ruck and take uncontested marks (he can't be a defender).

It'd be all about shuffling players around to make space for the right number of draft picks. I wouldn't read too much into it. Would be surprising if he isn't firmly in 2025 delist calculations.

Neither Rioli nor SPP has ever reached that mark.
I think DBJ is a classy, hard nosed player and he'll continue to be effective.

This proves my point of our small forwards. We have too many of them and Richards misses out, which won't happen because we basically guaranteed him games to bring him over. So you have to bring him in. So who misses out? Most people would say DBJ, who was our most consistent small forward. So he shouldn't be dropped either. Whilst we are spoilt for options in the forward half in terms of smalls, we have a key deficiency in a KPF who can play 2nd ruck. I have more faith in Visentini than Lord. I'd play him ahead of Marshall and have Marshall sub. Change Marshall's role to a utility rather than KPF. He's a brilliant field kick, reads play well and could be a point of difference as a utility like Westhoff. Bring him off the bench and ease him back into the top level instead of finishing his career off
The 5 interchange rule would've really helped us btw.

Mack Bowman, former Nth Adelaide reserves player (played with South Clare in 2024 I think) is a SANFL top up for 2025.
We can fit them all in. Time for an overhaul of the forward 50 setup. Just go 8 forwards including 1x outside mid/wing spot and a bench spot.
Bigs - Luko, Georgi, Finlayson
Smalls - SPP, Rioli, Richards, DBJ and Berry.
Still can get Rozee, Butters and JHF forward time.
It’s more about game plan though. It’s the ultimate pressure side, heaps more speed with these mobile talls and we’d have to push the forwards up really high, and play a more chaos running game out of d50.
