My opinion yes and I do think its detrimental to young player development and the form of experienced players if you continually ignore extended periods of poor form and keep selecting them.
Some excuses are they are young, we need to keep them in the side, they are in our next premiership side without a doubt.
Others are; they are best 22, must play our best players at every opportunity.
I think Nicks has almost certainly latched onto a group of players for now and he is unwilling to make the tough decisions at the selection table to remove players who have had extended run of poor form and not doing their job. This is damaging his selection integrity and players in the twos must wonder what they have to do to break into the side.
Rather than create a list, we can have a per player discussion.
