Not sure why English is getting the criticism for Lobb's awful stints in the ruck. Accepting Gawn as an elite player Lobb just allowed Gawn to tap it (or thump) to where he wanted numerous times.
Bro Lobbs awful stints in the ruck came because our million dollar ruckman was banished from the ruck for being ****ing pathetic

Tim won’t be there next year, take it to the bank. He knows, the all players know. Be a professional and put in for 6 months.
If he stinks it up again like that he shouldn't play for a month. Honestly, that was a performance from a bloke who looked like he was disinterested and/or beaten mentally before he walked onto the ground. It was shocking. He was getting out bodied by blokes 6,7,8 inches shorter and 20kgs lighter. And that's just the start.

Such a shit way to start the season again. I hope we can turn things around quickly, but if not, we need to pull the cord on Bevo early and look forward. There's no way we can sit through another year like last year and hope that things will magically change.

It's nothing personal guys, but if Vandermeer, McNeil or Khamis get another game for this ****ing football club I'm absolutely done.

To the selection committee, Daniel as the ****ing sub, are you ****ing kidding me!?!?

Finally, it's like an old pair of jeans you just slip into, knowing that absolutely ****ing nothing in our game plan has changed in 3 years.

A last little shot at the absolute shitheads at AFL house for the concept of Opening Round, **** you all, **** you all in your stupid ****ing **** brains. What an absolute shithouse debacle. You should all be sacked.

the strongest selected team in Bevo's era

This has to be a Beveridge p1ss-take.

Dale Morris, Matt Boyd, Liam Picken, Easton Wood, 2016 Tom Boyd and Jordan Roughead, Clay Smith all say hi.

I know our forward line looks great on paper atm, but I suspect the 2016 team would eat today's MCG pretenders for breakfast.

One of the most pathetic games I've seen live from a Western Bulldogs ruckman. Let alone an AA ruckman.

Eff right off Tim, that was deplorable.
It's not even worse than the performance he put up in the first half against a first gamer in Geelong last year

Should have sold high last year

Bramble great, Sanders good should not have been subbed unbelievable decision, coffield good, Khamis okay but not a kpd, harmes not so good gags looks better in the midfield but ain't ready, McNeill no , vdm no

Naughton getting asss kicked let's not change that

Oliver roaming free let's not change that

McCrae Darcy jod all should have played

The season is over before it started , dumb dumb dumb baby bath water gone

Yeah I am not sure if he actually said that but it sounded that way from his presser this week, but I totally agree we are far from the best 22 in the Bevo era.

I guess this season we were always going to have a win/win situation. Play badly, new coach at some stage. Play well, give ourselves a shot at a flag and pat on the back for a guy most of us do love as a person (Bevo)

Who the **** likes Bevo? Since 16 he has been an egotistical ********. That simple

Rylee West looked good. It’s hard to tell some things at the ground. But easy to see McNeill and VDM were no where near it.
New kids looked good, Sanders and Gags.
Bloody Weightman still flying against Naughton in front of me! There were a lot of crumbs that went begging in the forward line.
I thought Bont celebrated his goal in a strange way, I suppose he was trying to lift the boys, but looked a little self-centred?
Caleb gave a lot when he was on. Bramble looked good and Libba as always.

I don’t think Bevo is a bad person. Does he have character flaws like all of us? Most likely. Do I think the game has gone past him and a fresh start was required last year? Absolutely.

His verbatim quote was: "our fittest, strongest and most ready team..." referencing his entire coaching tenure.

So he said it. Now he wears it.

McNeil was terrible, but he demanded selection because of pre season form ( unfortunately)
But we also had a lot of senior players well down.

Gawn , Oliver and Petracca must wake up in the morning when playing us , and think the world is a wonderful place.
Absolutely no change in how we handled them just waltzing out of stoppages and centre bounces.

Having 2 Milton The Monsters as ruckman don’t help either ! ( some of you older blokes will get the drift )

For all the talk of coaching changes, we made one change to our line coaches and we played like it

No adjustment to our shit ball movement
No adjustment to our midfield set ups and inability to prevent easy spread from a clearance
No easy hit ups inside 50 after the first 10 minutes

How bevo spangher and lade are still employed is beyond me

I'm not sure where this scapegoating of English is coming from. 23 touches, 10 contested. Poor game no doubt but I don't think it's anywhere near as bad people are making them out to be. Especially as he did have a few nice taps to advantage. Not claiming he played well but gee you'd think he turned it over 10 times or only gotten 7 touches in total or whatever with the carry on. English was far from our biggest issues and far from the reason we l

Bailey Dale has no physical presence what so ever. It’s disgusting at times to watch him not attack his opponent or the ball

But not enough sinister sauce!!!

Compounded by the fact he missed 2 goals into 25 metres in the 3rd quarter.
