Geez what a terrible coaching performance that was from selection to game day from Bevo.

The players looked unfit and disinterested. Leaving out two AA level players to play VDM & McNeil is inexcusable.

That game was straight out of the previous years playbooks. A few different players but the same shit. Just awful.

Four worst parts of the game that had me pulling hair out:

- Brambles kick inside 50 in the third to the top of the square for it to be easily marked by McDonald.

-Richards getting flattened by Oliver in the second.

-Buku miss tackle on Brown inside 50.

-McNeil fumble on wing when we had all the play.

I'm not sure where this scapegoating of English is coming from. 23 touches, 10 contested. Poor game no doubt but I don't think it's anywhere near as bad people are making them out to be. Especially as he did have a few nice taps to advantage. Not claiming he played well but gee you'd think he turned it over 10 times or only gotten 7 touches in total or whatever with the carry on. English was far from our biggest issues and far from the reason we l
A few nice taps to advantage 😂

Have you ever had an opinion on what you’ve watched or just look at the stat sheet? He was ****ing pathetic

I don't see a lot of desperation or urgency in McNeil. There was one kicked out to him on the wing, he was more worried about the player behind him than the ball. And I'm old school, don't like players laughing after the game like Weightman did. He spoilt Naughton a couple of times by being selfish and was BOG average, not even making the distance from a kick he should have nailed.

Mate.. his attack on the footy was a joke. We are relying on him to have a presence.

That effort on Gawn for him to take an easy contested mark inside 50 25m out was a disgrace. When he’s running towards an opposition player who is much smaller, with the ball in the middle of them, it should not result in a 50/50. His physical efforts should be highlighted Monday morning in the meeting.

I’d rather us take the game on by hand and foot, kick it out to space inside 50, and lose by 60 than watch that boring predictable shit.

My concern is we don’t have the players to change the style play. Maybe a core of them are incapable.
This is probably the harsh reality we have to face. Several players are either too slow, too small or lack disposal skills. There is unfortunately not a lot you can do with these types even with a shift in tactics. Then we come to the issue of whether we have enough depth to replace them. Not convinced we have.
We've already identified a few that are never going to get better. At the very least we don't want to see them in the team again.

For someone that’s supposedly in the team for his speed and pressure, it’s non-existent at times. He’s not fit enough and he let numerous Demons players move past him unimpeded constantly.

Between him and VDM, I’m not sure who’s worse. The fact that they keep getting chances is shocking.

No system at all. Watch Melbourne, they switch to give time to assess options and create them by getting the opposition. moving across field.

We stand still with no lead ups, Melbourne have players stand position and always have an option for the player kicking out to kick to in order to advance the ball. Every time we had the kick out we’d have to bomb it since there we no options.

Our midfield gives him no chance but Naughton would want to lift his game very quickly. If he’s being paid like the best CHF in the comp then he needs to start performing like one.

Some of the performances he provides simply aren’t up to the standard we need of him. May routinely gives him a bath and I’m getting over it very quickly.

Why do we think the Timmy you describe would ever change

This is the ruckman we have chosen to have and IMO he is not the ruck that complements this side

Massive rant incoming:

Honestly, **** this shit. I will never forget what Bevo gave this team - 2016 was the happiest day of my life. My love for this club is borne through a family connection and it has allowed me to foster relationships with my grandpa and dad that never would have been as strong without it.

But I am so done with this bullshit. It’s not the loss to Melbourne, who have had their challenges this off-season, but are still a good team - it’s the absolutely crap lack of a game plan that has not changed in two years. It’s the getting cut up by the SAME OLD SHIT, that any supporter can see happening time and time again!!!

It is so hard to be a consistently good team in this game, especially when you are a club that lacks resources like we are. The last few years have wasted the prime of the best player our club has ever seen, we are wasting the brilliance of a club family legend who will wane soon, we are letting down an amazing man who has chosen to stick with us over living with his family in another state.

The time for change is now. I would NEVER wish for a dogs loss, but if we lose to a GC team (that has looked pretty decent) in Ballarat next week, I hope we will see some actual decisive action from the club for once.

This team needs a ruck that can almost be another inside mid at the ruck contest, instead of letting teams waltz it out the middle like they always do.

Yeah look I’ve had a lot of hope for him but I’m leaning that way. He’s just so average.

If Darcy played today he would have worked his ass off in every contest
The preseason games were it for me Darcy dominated Reeves 1 week then English comes in the week after and got creamed gets his cheap touches and hides the fact he is a liability at his actual position

My wife wants to know why when the ball's at "our end" there's lots of "their players" in there, but when it's at "their end" they always have a couple of "their players" all alone.

Anyone care to help out with an answer? 🙄
Um, Bev Ball.

- The multiple shitty kicks that were smothered by Dees players. Would’ve been 5+ times.
