I think we can all agree on this.....
Geelong needed the Weapon, Dank and the AFL to turn a blind eye..
Who's 'blind eye' did Geelong turn then?

You spend pages having a go at Nakia for being deluded and crazy...then you post this.

Do you honestly believe this?
I provided evidence that the Hawks had a zone considered weak and your saying I cannot have a dig at someone doing the exact same thing in regards to the Hawks?

Perhaps to get around the injections, syringes favoured by the Weapon, Dank they shelved all the PED's up the blind eye?
Well I guess that's a way for you to express what you think you're talking about. :thumbsu:

It's your credibility. You can do whatever you like with it.

Shhhhhhhhhh.

Just like not mentioning the war to the Germans, never mention the obvious ped regime to the Handbaggers.

The silly deluded Flogs think they went from being shit for 44 years to winning something without the weapons help.

B2B in today's modern game is equal to Collingwoods 4 challenge tainted straight.
More teams, so more competition and greater odds to succeed. Salary caps, ladder position based national drafts and various other equalisation methods. Structured fixtures designed to give better teams harder draws.
Have to win a minimum 3 to 4 games to crowned the Premier, compared with 2. Can't lose the game that would have been the grandfinal and cry about it using a dodgy challenge rule. The challenge rule was a stain on the game hence it was immediately removed following the embarrassment Collingwood made of it using it 2 times in the 4 straight.
Effectively there were only 8 teams at the time as the new teams were a joke and never received today's type of concessions to aid building a team.

Its just the way the finals were run at the time. In the EPL the minor premier takes the title. In the 1920's only the minor premier received the double chance, today the top 4 get the double chance.

In one way its fair that the minor premier always makes the grand final. Although it was kind of stupid that the 2nd place team would have to beat the minor premier twice to get the flag. Cats fans would be upset on not getting the 1930 flag.

I understand the system, it's just a joke to compare it with today's game. If the minor Premier loses their first game they go straight through to the GF, if the minor premier wins the first and second game they play in the final series they become the Premier. If they win the 1st game but lose the 2nd game they get a rematch. That's a joke of a finals system and like you said the minor premier is guaranteed a place in the grandfinal. That's if it actually happens and they don't become the premier in week 2. So back then, the double chance could go into the second rnd of finals and the Premier could become the Premier by winning as little 1 match in the final series. Example they lose week 1 go straight to the GF and win the GF.

Today finals the Premier must win atleast 3 games to become the Premier, there is no second chances after the 1st rnd of finals. anyone in the top 4 loses they have win the next 3 games, so minimum 3 to 4 games played to become the Premier.
In a competition with effectively 8 teams you can see why it's a lot easier to win the Premiership.
Even if you were to not include the bottom 2 teams due to the recent expansion teams joining that still leaves 16 teams which makes it twice as competitive to be a top team.

Half the teams, half as many games for minor Premier to become the Premier, half the value. A B2B in today's game is just as impressive. Geelongs 3/5 is also just as impressive as the challenge era 4.

Chicago Bulls were mightily impressive, but if that's how you feel I won't hold it against you.
Welcome aboard, Hawks will happily take your money.

A wise move. The way the Cats are going they wont exist in 5 years...in fact Im not convinced they are actually trading whilst insolvent (has anyone actually seen their books?)
