He is a dumb fu(k it was just a typo error ..... he meant the Kray Twins.

Wanting a pair of inside bully boy enforces.
Pressure act specialists.
Back in the early 2000's Brad and Chris Scott were dubbed the "Kray twins" by opposition players due to their underhanded tactics and dirty play (see nick Riewoldt incident).

Trades are usually not done in public like this. They get done behind closed doors for good reasons. If Geelong don't want the backlash for coming across as difficult, simply shut the fu** and work quietly behind closed doors, like the eagles and almost every other club in the AFL.
There is an often misquoted saying from Bismarck "laws are like sausages, better not see them being made" which I think is pertinent here.
Geelong has decided to open the door in this particular trade and have it play out in public. And now you are over here complaining that we have formed an opinion based on things that have been publicly stated on the record.......
He was injured, but a 21-22 yo premiership player. Wanted to get to Brisbane as his dad was there so it got done no hassles.
Another example of Geelong doing the right thing, despite the ongoing dialogue that we are difficult to deal with.
Let's not forget that he's not a 19-20 year old AA, Geelong got him second round because he took 6 years to be worth drafting. Sure, he's performed since, but he came in mature. Two year draftees who are All Australians and top 5 in the Brownlow who want to go home to take better care of their autistic kids (with good reason) aren’t a situation that anyone has faced before either, so the whole situation is unprecedented.
Let’s just have faith that Geelong and the Eagles- who both have long histories of being good to deal with, will get it done in a way both clubs will be happy with.

The only reason that happened was because Adelaide could match the money offered to danger and it was better than the compensation the afl was offering.David Noble after we ‘shafted’ Adelaide
‘All along we were intent on doing what was in the best interests of our club, and we have been able to deliver the best possible outcome," Noble said.
"Securing picks nine and 28 allows us to add some more quality talent to our playing list, while Dean is a young man who has the makings of a long-term player.
"I would also like to acknowledge Geelong for the professional manner in which these negotiations were handled."
Your turn now....
It really isn't that different to any other of the many trade request submitted every year.
I have absolutely no issue how Geelong decided to deal with this issue last year. He was under contract and they had every single right to hold him to his contract unless they were satisfied with the trade.
This year he is uncontracted, and yet, Geelong is even more hard nosed, even more desperate.
It comes across extremely crass how Geelong is hanling this. Essentially trying to force Tim between his family and his football (i.e. Going to Fremantle and sacrificing his career).
Just admit it, you're scared that he'll become an Eagle and we will win the flag next year.
I’ve called the police guys.Getting the impression that this will be done on Monday. This has been coming for 12 months, a lot of huffing and puffing has taken place in public and both clubs have other deals in mind that can only take place after this one has been concluded.
It is in the best interests of all parties (particularly T.Kelly) to get this out of the way early and move on.
Phone has been buzzing all night but have only just got in from a few drinks and will leave it until tomorrow now before going through them. If there turns out to be anything worthwhile, I'll add it here later on.

I expect he will be an eagle and you’ll realize how good he really is.
Any posturing done through the media is irrelevant, but again Geelong aren’t going to come out and say yeah he’ll get to the eagles for whatever they are happy to give for him are they?
Just as Essendon haven’t regarding Daniher, Gold Coast didn’t with O’Meara and Prestia, and Freo with Neale.
You still got him for under the market price. List managers always say that anyway. But generally I agree with you about Geelong decent traders in the past as they really haven’t let any stars go. Now SOME of the club are carrying on like pork chops when they are about to lose a star.Yes, but this quote was added as an example of Geelong being decent to work with, which someone asked for, and despite us apparently ‘shafting’ them for Danger

You seem to think that your club has conducted itself well through this process. Personally, my estimation of Geelong football club has crashed through the basement with this. So, this is simply a time where we will have to agree to disagree.
I tend to think that Catters are driven out of fear of going back to being the hand baggers of the AFL.
Everyone know Chris Scott and Geelong are clinging to relevance. This trade will ensure your premiership window closes without another flag.
Outside of one era (2007-2011), flag success has been hard to come by for the Mighty Cats.
I got nothing bro. I only said it cause you were asking everyone for quotes so I turned it around on you to provide.David Noble after we ‘shafted’ Adelaide

Probably won't be the last...Happy to be corrected, first time I've typed the name into a search bar!
That looks good. Not sure if this has been covered in the previous 180 pages of this thread, but surely the way to get the best outcome for both parties in this trade is to put all their picks together. This would give themselves the best chance of getting the best outcome for both parties.
For example, I would first look at the bulldogs or gws who need future picks for next year. If you take the bulldogs both teams should offer their 2020 second round picks (~1200 points assuming they are in about the positions they finished this yr) and trade it for pick 13 this year (1212 points). The bulldogs would also get a 25% loading on those points so maybe the teams could further negotiate to include the bulldogs pick 50 in this years draft.
I would then go to the hawks who need points this year and offer them picks 33,36, 50, 54 & 61 for 11, which would give the hawks a gain of ~300 points.
So, along with picks 11 & 13 west coast would then give up pick 14 to get Geelong to then agree for TK go to his club of choice (WCE).
Geelong end up with a solid 2019 draft hand in picks 11,13,14 & 17 while giving up Kelly, 36 and 2020second rounder. Making Kelly worth about 2300 points, which is higher than what Dangerfield went for (2146) by 150 points.
West coast give up 14, 33 and 2020 second rounder (~2300 points), but through solid trading and teamwork from both clubs keep pick 24 for draft night and gain the services of TK.
Rather I’m just pointing out that it’s more likely a case that SOME eagles fans are trying to make out that we are the ones at fault for wanting value for a player we drafted only two years ago.
We knocked you out of the finals three weeks ago, and missed finals once in the last 13 years. I’ve been hearing people like you saying we are irrelevant and going to drop off for near on a decade now and it hasn’t happened yet, so don’t hold your breath!
