Let's start in the month of October...

October: The trade period normally excites Richmond supporters somewhat, I mean, there is only one direction to go from September in terms of optimism and that is up! It is at this time Richmond will lose players (almost always bad ones, which will please supporters) and usually pick up more list cloggers or vanilla b graders. This however will excite them and give them some hope that the next season will be a good one.

November: It gets even better this month with the draft occurring... With almost always having a top 10 pick every year or even a priority pick (who could fk up a priority pick???). The player/s picked up will excite Richmond fans. You'll normally hear things such as "Tambling/Vickery/Conca/Oakley-Nicholls/Vlastuin/Lennon looks like an absolute star and is almost certain to turn our club around and make us a contender.

December: No football is played and nothing really happens, therefore Richmond supporters are entitled to feel more optimistic.

January: No football is played and nothing really happens, therefore Richmond supporters are entitled to feel more optimistic.

February: Pre season training... Often you'll hear how well Richmond are training with terms such as "They're training the house down!" How do Richmond players then turn this hard training into on field success? The answer to that is intra-club matches (because they're playing against each other). Now this is something for supporters to get excited about.

March: How else do Richmond players actually play well? In pre season games that don't matter. It is at this time all the hard work pays off and you see youngsters like Nick Vlastuin rack up 30 possies in a game and Rioli show 'promise' (which in turn is enough to earn a long term contract). With 6 months of no footy and Round 1 soon upon us, there is no wonder optimism is so so high...

April (well the start of it): What a time to be a Richmond supporter, coming off an amazing victory in Round 1 against a "promising" side in Carlton and having a 100% winning record, what could possibly go wrong from here?

May: Uh oh... We talked a big game following round 1, we were all aboard the Tiggy train, yet somehow we've managed to lose most, if not all of our games since then... These are worrying signs and usually, you will see most Richmond supporters give up for the year, some faithful tiger fans still have hope...

June: It is at this point Richmond are a laughing stock, usually dropping most games (as expected), however also dropping unloseable games usually to a Brisbane or Gold Coast type and blowing large 3qtr time leads...

July: Things remain the same in this period, however this is where Richmond play their 1 good game of the year against a good side, normally against a Sydney or Hawthorn type... This is then where Damian Hardwick holds onto his job for the next year to the delight of all opposition supporters. A select few (not many) Richmond supporters believe this is the victory that might turn them around for years to come.

August: 'The membership in the microwave period'. It is usually at this point, supporters have given up (let's be honest, it is normally in June/July but I'll be generous) and start blaming everyone they can the players, the coach, the administration and or the AFL. Optimism is at an all time low.

September: During finals, you won't see any Richmond supporters popping up anywhere. They're done with football and think to themselves, how and why do I continue to support this embarrassment of a club...
I was 1 day off...

June: It is at this point Richmond are a laughing stock, usually dropping most games (as expected), however also dropping unloseable games usually to a Brisbane or Gold Coast type and blowing large 3qtr time leads...

CFL have ripped through our club.
But we still fight on.
Only a 30 point loss against a rort of umpiring.

I think Yze is doing a great job ATM.

Swans will be a huge test.

Our VFL team is playing great.

A 30k crowd due to the CFL's horrible fixturing towards Richmond.

Piastri a Tiger races right in the middle of the Tigers game.

CFL ,eggs for brains.

The umpiring,well.

When Tony Shaw ,who doesn't like Richmond very much(98 percent of the media)says we did not get the rub of the green, you know the state of umpiring has hit an all time low.
Richmond not only were bottom of the free differential in our 3 flags, but rules were invented to stop us.

That's how much the mighty Tiger affects the boy's club at CFL House.
