Also Dannnnnnnnnn - as much as people are making fun of your boys today, they still beat our mob. There's always a bigger train wreck.

Now please beat that purple and gold train wreck.
Haha, hey, I'm willing to cop the mockery at our expense today - we deserve it. ;)

Would be nice to smack LA. Can't begin to imagine what DLo is gonna put up against us in a play in though.

Hey, you only had two guys punch out early, literally. We had a whole team do it, just figuratively.

I'll guess he'll put up around 25.

25 free throw attempts.

I mean basically right now as it stands the deal is

Kessler + 2023-2025-2027-2029 1st rounder + 200 million dollars for Rudy Gobert

I mean what is beating that as a bad trade ?
The Gobert deal is awful but there has been far worse trades.

How about the 76ers trading away Wilt Chamberlain for Jerry Chambers, Darrall Imhoff and and Archie Clark.... yeeeaaahhh.

Hahah...

I said this in another thread about it.

"Another example today of why LeBron is so unlikable despite his immense talent.

You're playing the Utah Jazz who suck and you're at home. The Jazz arent playing THT, Markannen, Sexton or Clarkson and you're playing to secure a play in spot, it's not game 7 of the NBA Finals.

40 seconds to go in the last game of the season. Your team is winning by 8 points and you have the ball. You launch a long three and hit it. You walk down the court and mime putting a crown on your own head.

Bruh..."

The 50 win cavs can’t crack the poll but play in teams can ?
Last time a team won a championship without winning 50 games was 1995
I remember the year the Suns won 48 games and didn’t make the playoffs

In all seriousness the Gobert trade will go down in sporting history as the worst one ever done. It will be NBAs Chris Groom for Andrew McLeod moment

I mean we ae 9 months in and Utah Jazz already have the better player in Walter Kessler and that is before the 4 first rounders
It is not even the worst trade of the last few years. Russ. Simmons.

Can you imagine Jordan's reputation if he played in the social media era? All the videos of his demeaning teammates, punching teammates, Madonna publicly posting why she prefers Pippen and Rodman, etc.

It would be brutal.

And actively wanting and using child slaves for his companies too... So easily forgotten

PG was a shocking trade - but at least PG is a good fit at the Clippers. OKC still need to make it count as well.

But thats kind of my point with the Gobert trade?

Utah have already won on the Kessler/Gobert aspect of the trade. Kessler is better and even if you dont think he is for example if you add the fact Gobert is costing 200+ mill more then it is a absolute landslide still and in any way you want to measure this part of the deal

Utah could pick up 5 absolute bums with the first rounders who are basically glorified G-League players and still win this deal. Its a rare feat

But as Dannnnnnnnnn says Gobert is a good player and is a good fit. Your assertion that Kessler is better is entirely subjective.

Russ is a good player but was a horrible fit at the Lakers.

Simmons is a horrible player and a horrible fit and blew an entire team up and still has two years left.

It is not even close what the worst trade was.

You cant ignore salary and trade assets to assert what the deal is worth.

In none of those deals did the team who got screwed commit over 200+ mill in salary in the deal which isnt something you can ignore
