Can you imagine Jordan's reputation if he played in the social media era? All the videos of his demeaning teammates, punching teammates, Madonna publicly posting why she prefers Pippen and Rodman, etc.

I thought the Internet was way too harsh on Kobe in his final 5 or so years (even aside from the infamous rape case in Colorado)


He definitely was blamed for the reasons why the Lakers became lottery fodder in his final couple of seasons (selfish for signing that contract extension to make him a Laker for life)

Many Lakers fans turned on him towards the end, which I found sad.

That's true, but AD being absolutely non existent offensively that 2nd quarter didn't help, and D-Lo and others throwing up bricks and turning it over is a big problem for them.
