Minnesota should trade KAT. Just not a winner and never will be. Try get a good haul of young players and picks from the Knicks
We should trade the guy who is +19 and was dominating the game as our only reliable scorer?

Dude.

Don't worry guys, Pels/Thunder tomorrow is sure to deliver quality western conference playoff basketball.

Maybe.

Hopefully quality enough to keep Zion awake on the sidelines.

Zion needs to feel like Zion before he stays awake.

I was going to rebuke you for not posting here much lately mate, but then I remembered how garbage the last few weeks of the regular season were, so instead I'll laud you for putting in effort commensurate with the league's product of late.

Maybe if you throw the words 'contract renewal' just randomly into sentences it will spark him and his concentration for a few minutes each time.

Just on that, I'll put my hand up and say I have been finding it hard to fall back in love with the NBA.

Aside from following Charlotte who remain a steadfast supplier of consistent disappointment, in my humblest of opinions the product has been on a decline for me since around the same time the 3pt shooter died as a niche and specialist role and became every dude's god given right to chuck it because 3 is more than 2. Maths.

Give me the bangers down low, the technicians on the block, the slashers, the mid-range specialists etc. I know it all still exists to an extent, but those glimpses feel mostly surrounded by non-attractive basketball.

Or maybe I just don't watch enough anymore  i'll keep trying.

Sadly only works once every four or five years.

Was a nice 20 games while it lasted.

Not on your Pat Malone there. Not dissimilar to AFL teams effectively becoming 15 onballers, 2 defenders and 1 forward.

Like anything, it depends on its compartments. Done properly, a well-spaced motion offense can be a thing of beauty. I'll never understand step-back threes becoming a staple on offense for anyone not named Steph Curry though.

Ironically enough it's one of the things that makes Zion captivating viewing, on the rare occasions he does lace them up. Big point of difference.

Mid-range specialists you say?

Hi mate. I’ve got a team for you.

The Pels are mid-range specialists.

Must spend more time hovering around .500 than any other team.
Better to do that and make the playoffs than win 48 games in a season and not get a sniff. Soothes the soul.

Man that was a weird group you had that year.

Bledsoe, the Morrii and Gerald Green were characters to put it mildly. And you won 48 with Miles Plumlee playing major minutes, quite the achievement.

Being a constant tread mill team is the worst position to be in the NBA.

Luckily for the Pels, they have a lot of assets (picks and players) they could flip around and bring someone better offensive pieces.

Some luck with injuries wouldn't go astray for New Orleans either.

Plumlee’s first game he looked like a double double machine. He was not.
