Discussion pertaining to the NBA mega trade involving Luka Doncic and Anthony Davis. The Mavericks going for a win now and need move with effectively no centres available on their roster.

Furthermore, with this move, the Mavs escape the supermax extension Donc was eligible for. Given President Trumps threats and introduction of tariffs, expectations of costs to be passed onto American consumers will lead to higher costs of living. The Mavs are fiscally wise.

this is literally insane… trading a top 3 player in the league, walk up 1st team all nba when fit player for an injury prone almost 32 year old….

Trading Luka and not even getting a haul of picks and now with Kyrie and AD you are on a huge win now time crunch.

I hate this trade for the Mavericks. Having Luka in the LA market is kinda fun.

Yeah it's genuinely shocking.

Completely different to when AD hired Rich Paul and demanded a trade to the Lakers. Dallas had complete control of this, unlike us vis-a-vis Davis.

Pretty funny the Lakers now traded him to Dallas btw.

If you are going to sell him surely you try and get 7 first round picks back rather than a two season window of Kyrie and AD
