You have no idea how a game would play out after the next center bounce if a goal had been scored instead of a point. The Hamish incident would have decided the game though cause it was after the siren. You were lucky and you know it.

So, by your logic:
If a woman has a relationship with a player, when that relationship ends, she is still off limits to every other player forever.
