Collingwood are just an average team with a GREAT coach (i'd love him at the blues) and an EXTREMELY favourable draw.

Brisbane are on fire at the moment and you will find the best of young sides will suffer a letdown at some stage. Better to get it out of the way now and refocus for the finals.

Seriously, a thread like that started in another teams forum needs to be yellow carded.
They were under-prepared, complacent, and didn't show the respect to Brisbane they deserved, and wern't switched on. Things didn't go our way from the beginning. This sort of thing happens in football. Most sides will have 1 or more let downs per year, and it all depends on how you bounce back.
You only have to look back 2 weeks to see the reigning premiers thumped by 100 points.
You re-jig, re-assess, and focus on the coming week and make up for it. The week after a big loss is the one the determines your character, because sometimes things go wrong. It all depends how you respond to it.

Both Collingwood and Hawthorn have some good youngsters coming through, the main thing for both sides would be to play finals to get some finals experience and understand the pressures that is finals.
Then have a crack at it again next year.

Get over the "draw". The so called favourable part of the draw started last night supposedly but starts in earnest when we get to double up on the blues. Up until then we had travelled and won so by any reckoning our place in the ladder up to now was earned
