I'm sure it's just the light and there's really not traces of a mysterious white powder anti-inflammatories something white-ish and perhaps a little sticky around the edge of the liquid in the glass.

Some of those old cars price wise today, like that XB GT @7k back then would be worth well over 500k now in reasonable condition. I was looking at the old Mazda rotaries on Carsales the other day. An RX3 restored to stock condition is worth north 0f 150k. These were cares you could pick up for like $1500 early 80s.
