My uncle who was a bit of a trendsetter smoke Peter Stuyvesant back in the 60/70s. Think he fancied that 'international passport to smoking pleasure'.
Me a 10 cent packet of 10 Viscounts and a 2 cent box of Redhead matches was all I could enjoy/afford back then.

Ran into him a couple of times at one of my best mates' local Rosevears Tavern up north, we steered well clear, he had a mad crew with him.

Apparently in the end he was changing pubs nearly every day to escape the publicity...couldn't have a beer in peace without someone wanting to fight him or worship him.

Spot on and the best open fire in a pub I've ever seen. Good mix of people and bar flys. Sorta pub that doesnt exist in Melbourne anymoure.
