Bears somewhat unlucky that Striker475 changed his username between Doctor Gero's team and Matera92 overwriting it.

But JoshWoodenSpoon should have still posted the team either way - I do not think he understood that a week suspension was only a playing penalty, and he was allowed to post the team sheet.

For the Demons, clear acronym errors, and they're lucky that they aren't compounding errors.

Someone come up with avatars for cats2rise and JoshWoodenSpoon that don't contain wide-brimmed hats.

Boy that's tough on the Bears. I don't think an @ symbol should require any sort of penalty. The Demons on the other hand should, acronyms are a big part of knowing the changes for the simmer committee while removing an @ sign isn't
Adding an @ sign and not putting an extra letter because Sante’s keyboard is sticky? There is no difference.

Does anyone have chores this week they don't want to do? Captains who have made team sheet errors have no rights for the week so slavery is permitted.
Very clever suggestion! Captains, I'll post those pesky team sheets for you! Handle your recruiting! You can sit back and at true ease as the week passes seamlessly by.

Tribunal is in Session

We're going to have two simultaneous hearings as there are two cases this week.

CASE 3: HARD WORKING EMU USES INCORRECT ACRONYMS, CATS TO BE WHACKED

In Round 4, the Mount Buller Demons are found to have used incorrect positional acronyms when naming their official team sheet as specified by Rule 4B:

4B - Sheet Positioning
Team sheets must be displayed with the following positional acronyms (shown as bolded below). No other format will be accepted:

B: Back Pocket (BP) - Full Back (FB) - Back Pocket (BP)
HB: Half Back Flank (HBF) - Centre Half Back (CHB) - Half Back Flank (HBF)
C: Wing (W) - Centre (C) - Wing (W)
HF: Half Forward Flank (HFF) - Centre Half Forward (CHF) - Half Forward Flank (HFF)
F: Forward Pocket (FP) - Full Forward (FF) - Forward Pocket (FP)
R: Ruck (Ruck) - Ruck Rover (RR) - Rover (R)

INT: Interchange (INT) - Interchange (INT)

Please note: The bracketed acronyms, and only these, MUST be used when signifying a players positional change.

In the quote below, Demons vice-captain sante who was posting in the stead of captain cats2rise used HF for changed to/from the Half Forward Flank and HB for changes to/from the Half Back Flank, instead of HFF and HBF as specified in the rules. Errors shown below in bold and underlined.

This means the Demons have committed a low impact team sheet offense and the captain to rise will incur a penalty decided by the tribunal.

CASE 4: BEARS' DESPERATE ATTEMPT TO THWART DOCTOR GERO BACKFIRES

In Round 4, the Bears have been found to have made a spelling error after failing to omit the @ symbol in from of Striker475 in their latest official team sheet posted by Matera92 in the stead of JoshWoodenSpoon and AngryRanga. To add further insult, the latter team sheet over-rided an earlier and correct team sheet posted by Doctor Gero.

I reckon the @ thing is negligible, just make fun of him.
The position changes considering it was almost all of them written incorrectly is big enough to warrant a week off.

My votes
JoshWoodenSpoon - dum dum: throw rocks at
cats2rise sante - incompetent: One week off.
*Also beat us by 1 point the bastards

The thing is, harshness of the penalty is predicated by the impact on the simmers to sim the game. It could be argued that the Bears' error was more of an impediment to simming. But both are mandated low impact penalties, so no-one is missing a game.

Pretty pointless having tribunals for low impact stuff then, may as well save it for medium or high where there's gonna be an actual penalty?
Maybe make a mandatory penalty like the dunce hat I made for Golly..make the whole team wear them :straining:

Folk can be a lot more creative. Like Cloddo says, anything can be brought down so long as it doesn't commit the accused to breaking site rules and ain't weeks. That's a lot of stuff.

The tribunal is more for cases like last week, where a medium or high impact penalty is being appealed and extenuating circumstances may apply.

It was easier before, everyone was just GUILTY!

The tribunal exists to give captains a right of appeal in high/medium impact cases in case the admin applies it wrong or there's a different interpretation. But in most cases it's pretty clear cut.

Low impact seems pretty trivial on the surface but it's like setting a bail condition. If that isn't satisfied then it turns into a suspension.

But we get to decide how they get punished.

Like I said, I'm standing firm on the Furies having to forfeit this week.

I like the 'bail' for low impact
4 weeks bail, if you make another suff up in that 4 weeks you get a week off.
'On Bail' in your sig..
