Hutchy going after his mo is the dumbest thing I've heard in this whole thing.

I didn't know he quit the coaches association, though. Tbh I love the idea of Beveridge isolating himself like Mr. Burns running the casino. How long until he turns up to a game wearing tissue boxes on his feet?

I reckon its great when a tv host who is a bald hunchback slob talks about appearance personally.

Remember when people said we were shit because Dunn and Watts had mos like that means a ****ing thing

Really confused why they didn't cover dark times like that in the Fox Footy doco.

They're not Melbourne 2019 bad, but you wonder just how much that Grand Final embarrassment is playing on their minds. Their 30 missing best-22 players are back now, too, so that excuse is out the window.

I just get Adelaide 2017-18 vibes from them...

It's also not the first time they've dropped off after a grand final

Or they've lost to two top 6 sides
As with every year there are huge overreactions after round 1 (and now 2).

I know it’s not very exciting to be patient and wait before passing judgement, but it’s not until round 6-8 that I think we start to get a true feel for what’s been a difficult or easy draw to start the year.

If you started 2021 with Sydney and Melbourne in your first two games you were probably reasonably happy based on 2020 results. But in retrospect that would’ve been a really difficult first couple of games.

It’s not time to panic at The Western (yet), just like it’s not time for Carlton to celebrate. On the main board there are insufferable Carlton supporters (expectedly so), but for mine they’ve had two games (albeit one a practice match) where they stopped dead and were lucky not to get mown down, and two games where the ill discipline of their opponent handed them scoring that more than made up the final margin. If that was Melbourne those things would be worrying me.

Similarly for Carlton, given how bullish some of media was on Richmond, having Richmond and The Western looked like a really tough start. If by the end of the season those two teams are 11th and 12th then it was actually a soft start to the year.

That loss may well have cooked them. A lot of people had them wining the flag this year and could not explain the last 45 mins of the grand final. I think it still plays on their minds.

Lol they easily could have won that game and should have if not for bad kicking. They've never finished top 4 under Beveridge. They'll do what they always do and get hot for long enough to make finals. Losing to us and then blowing a game against Carlton isn't season over stuff.

Im considering putting a bet on them to miss the 8

Dogs do a have cursed feel about them to me tho. Logic says they are too talented to miss the 8 no doubt. But they might have been worked out a bit also.

Won those three finals games but what is it now? 3-6 in their last 9 games?
