Got a haircut this morning. Usually I have to ask the barber to trim my eyebrows. Today he got in first and asked me.
Happened to me for the first time last haircut, so rude!

Think I’m suffering bigfooty sympathy vertigo, last few days in the morning when I roll over in bed I get huge dizzy spell when the room just rotates. Looking this up it’s called bppv, ffs I’m not even 50 and this is common with people over 65.

I'd send all of my specialists Christmas cards, but my pension isn't large enough.

I've had more doctors' appointments in the last 3 months than the last 20 years, thanks to a lung infection that spread to my heart and caused heart failure

MCL - 4-6 months
Minor hamstring- 4 weeks
Drilled out surfers ear - 6 weeks

Today would have been my father's 100th birthday. Twenty years ago today we had his 80th and last birthday party. I found a few pics of that day and he did not look well.
He died three months later from a brain aneurysm and complications from heart and lung disease. Remarkably he was able to be an organ donor. His liver was given to a woman in her 40s with two teenage children. It was a successful transplant. My mum wanted the gift to be anonymous, as one freely and lovingly given. I hope that woman today is still alive and has grandkids. That would make dad smile.
Happy 100th. I'm sure you're celebrating with mum and watching over your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Go Bears!

This is something Ive thought of as I get older
When I was 18 the 50 year olds were OLD - they looked old and they reminded me of how old my grandmother was
But as I get older I see 40-50 yr olds and I think most are a lot better looking from when I was 18
I recognise this is a function of age perspective but also a changing approach by women - mostly hair colour and botox
