Lets just remember....

This will be Tambling second Full Preseason.

Every season he has had Injuries, due mainly because of his small frame.

And he was always going to take a couple of seasons.

I for one still believe we should have taken him No.1..... and you can laugh all you want. If I had to pick between Franklin and Tambling right now, and chose a player that was going to help win us a premiership, I would still pick Tambling.

As our Midfield Improves together, Tambling will be the Most Dangerous out of anyone on our list. His Pace, Goals sense, crumbing off packs, Tackling and endurance will see him become a top 5 midfielder in the Comp.... big prediction I know.

Lets just sit back and watch this excitement machine rip up the AFL and at the end of the season no one will doubt why he was pick 4 and they'll wonder why he slipped so far..

PS - Tambling number 1 over Deledio is probably the worst comment i have read...Deledio is a future gun and possible AA

I THINK I'll TAKE YOU UP ON THAT 'laugh all you want' Even if Tamblin becomes good he still won't be as valuable as Buddy. Last year Alwyn Davey was taken and allready shown more than Tambling but it will be a long time for another Buddy Franklin> and yes I have heard of Nick Natatuiniwiwniohgas or watever he's called/

You are so correct. I can't believe we passed on Tambling for such a hack like Buddy. I really hope that Buddy shows something useful next year because he really didnt contribute at all this year for us. I know big guys take a lot longer to develop than smaller players so hopefully next year we can see Buddy do something wonderful and develop as quickly as Tambling has. Tambling will be something special. Hopefully buddy will be a 100 game plaer for us.

FFS, Davey is 3 years older than Tambling, so you'd expect him to show a bit more! Wait till Tambo reaches the same age (23) and he will be a better player than Davey was at that age. That is a much better way of comparing them!

The thing is, all these threads are started by Carlton supporters.

I remember exactly the same thing being said this time last year. Anyway, I think Tambling will be a decent player for the Tiges. Still unsure what position suits him best. Seems most effective as a small outside midfielder type, delivering to leading forwards. :)
