Enjoy your spud ;)

I once had respect for Geelong, even had them in my favourite vfl teams back when Turner was the man...not anymore they can go and get fkuced the pack of areswiping hypocrites....different story when they want someone coming home to them like Ablett and Rohan.
Nice melt flog

Nice melt.

- Ablett took the cash on a front loaded deal at the Suns and was screwing them.
- "Gibbs wants to leave Adelaide and Adelaide don't let him?" he went to Adelaide, what are you even talking about?

Tim Kelly made it known he had a young family including three kids, one with autism, West Coast offer more than double what you took him for a year earlier, and you just flat out refuse.

Shame Geelong, shame.
Nah, I might look into the circumstances concerning Abletts sister before commenting on him

Looks like Geelong and Wells in particular really did a number on the Eagles this time:thumbsu::)

The best bit is by the time Kelly gets to the Eagles their window will be shut and it may well cost them a flag in 2019:thumbsu:

Silly Eagles, should have just stumped up the picks and could have possibly had a Dynasty.:footy:
I don't know whether it's a compliment or an insult, but according to Sliding Doors today, you agree with Barrett:

No-one cares about Kelly himself, it's all about how Geelong decided to self-destruct rather than give West Coast a ready made player. We're better off without Kelly, which will give more exposure to another exciting midfield youth, and we get to keep our juicy 2nd rounders too, hopefully for a key defender or two.

/thread.

I finally understand all the sooky crap from Geelong about letting another player come to us in the form of Kelly this time, they are all privately seething in a delusional kind of way that by sending us Vardy not only did they hand us a premiership player but denied them the chance of having him in their side after years of not being able to get him up and playing. Its really kind of sad when you think about it, if they sent us Kelly for a fair trade and we won another flag in the next few years the Victorian Press would blame them for helping us win and their small narrow minds couldn't deal with that scenario so they kept him at all cost's.
Don’t they have full stops or punctuation in WA yet?

This is just the result of kids going up in a nanny state and spending their childhood in cotton wool.

You choose a career path you have to take the good with the bad. If you want to be a pop star get used to travel. You want to be an actor get used to months away from home. You want to be a soccer star be prepared to play anywhere in the world including non english speaking countries. It's called making sacrifices.

Current generation of AFL players are softer than butter.
This.
Are Afl Players a bunch of sooks?
Can’t be away from their families for an extended time or they crack the shits.
I can understand some of the indigenous players who come from remote areas etc, the city can be a bit off putting, but not being able to live interstate for a couple of years playing footy, rooting themselves silly and making good coin. What’s so hard?

There are cases where compassion is needed by clubs.
In contrast, Jesse Hogan was struggling mentally after the death of his father and enquires about the possibility of a trade. Initially, we demanded 2 first rounders for him. We later softened our stance for the sake of Jesse and also so we could bring in people who wanted to be here.
Having someone in the team who clearly doesn't want to be there is toxic to a clubs culture and it filters through the entire club.
There is also the issue of his autistic son. Depending on where he is on the spectrum, there is the possibility he's not coping with living somewhere unfamiliar and seeks the comfort of familiar surroundings. I can sympathise with Tim's circumstances.

Lol, now Melbourne supporters feel they are in a position to lecture Geelong on what a winning culture is all about, spell up, at least until after you win something other than a wooden spoon.

Like an Elimination Final?
12 flags vs 9 says we can.

Elimination finals lol. What trophy do you get for that? And those ancient flags won 60 years ago are long forgotten and that culture you had died when you voted your club out of existence.

Your Dank era flags carry the same amount of relevancy these days.
And we were voting Hawthorn out of existence. Which I would have thought is something Geelong supporters have always wanted to happen.

Flagless in over half a century, some Melbum supporters even dared to say how 'proud' they were about this season.....Not sure being kept goalless in the first half of a prelim warrants that word being used, but hey you lot do accept mediocrity more than all other teams ( bar maybe the aints ) because you really have no other choice. :D.....Ps Tim Kelly is a cat for 2019 so get over it flogs. :thumbsu:

Ask any honest Melbum supporter who lived through it, or just know their club's history, and they'll tell you their club imploded from the inside out the day they sacked Norm Smith..... To treat a true icon like that means they deserve all the success ( or lackthereof ) they get. :D :thumbsu:

What's with this constant "unhappy player" garbage.

He's on the record as saying he's happy to play for the Cats if a deal couldn't be done.

He's going to be uncontracted at the end of next year and all contract offers will be affected by next year's performance.

He'd be foolish to sook it up. I think he's professional enough to ensure that won't happen.
