No wonder Wells turned it down.
(Chicken Twisties wrapper?)
Stephen Wells still the master without even making a move.
Has anyone had more dominanant selections with lesser picks that have then gone onto become AFL champions?

Probably my favourite player of that dynasty and would be in his top 5 for sure.Chappy at 31?

Must be hard for a master geologist like Wells to name his top 3 discoveries after unearthing so many gems and diamonds from the rough and it’s completely understandable why other clubs are SO jealous of our success in this facet of the game.
Nor tanking. We’ve always just grit our teeth, gotten on with it & got the job done.No need to bottom out or rely on expansion clubs stealing talent to get our success.
Yeah about that particular packet of crisps.Has Tim Kelly signed for West Coast yet?
Well he certainly pitched in more than those shit trucks DangerFlog, Duckwood, and the X GCS player. It's a real pity that this is how Geelong treat one of their all-time club legends and greatest midfielder ever.

2 premiership captains with a third on the way using bugger all picks is nothing to be sneezed at tho.Overrated recruiter, particularly when looking at what clubs like Sydney have done with their rookie draft alone, over the years. Yet most people wouldn't even know who their list manager was.
Some people are just better at promoting themselves I guess.

Champion????Chappy at 31?

Champion????
Champion what? Roided-up, shaved-down, drug-test evader??
Chappy and his Geelong mates dodged the WADA bullet by a mere 2 seasons
Worse drug cheats than Essendon, IMHO
What the **** was the injunction about?Champion????

Maybe, but Wells’ best came from nothing, like he said.Geelong had plenty of good picks for their flags, plus a few handy F/s, before bidding came in.

I hope we stand firm next season and demand no less than pick 5, he isn't exactly a free agent.
We kept Menzel on our list for years only for him to play us against Adelaide. Tim Kelly would be a wafl player if not for Geelong. I don't think these players appreciate or realize the unwritten obligation they're under. If he wants to leave it shouldn't be to another AFL club. We should ask for our high price, let him walk into the draft and be chosen by Fremantle.
