“I will think naughty thoughts about you whilst we watch the tv”.
Tim Paine only has himself to blame but you have to be a real piece of work to send messages like that to a married man. Sounds like it was a two-way thing until the dick pic. I wonder if she told him he’d gone too far or just went straight to HR to complain? Sounds like a real femme fatale this woman.

CA are absolute grubs so unsurprising they've pushed on knowing this.

Are all cricketers just dumb as dog shit flogs?

Why is this coming out now as opposed to any time in the prior 4 years?
After the Duncan Harrison* thing a couple months ago, CA felt the need to start tightening up a few policies and perhaps that required them to re-examine some instances from the past.

*The guy who was finally sacked from his role as a WBBL assistant coach for an unseemly relationship with a Renegades player (whom he had coached throughout her junior years).

Honestly as a woman I find the most offensive thing about all of this is that he engaged in this embarrassing exchange whilst married, rather than the fact he sent a dick pick. What a flog.
cheating on a marriage is just breaking a promise to be faithful. people who do so are complete scumbags, but its still just breaking a promise.

but violating someone by sending them unwanted explicit images is something else.

you know what they say - behind every beautiful woman is a husband tired of ******* her
I'll have to try it out someday :D

Did i hear right he's just stepped down as captain ???

So if he hasn't quit, why step down ?

It's disgraceful behaviour by both, but if she's not married and he is, then Paine is absolutely the bigger 'piece of work', he's the one that made vows, has the children, accepts the responsibilities. Attacking her and casting her as the villain is poor form.

They both were married or atleast both in relationships, according to articles

It is interesting, guy sends a dickpic and she goes to his employer to complain about it.......

In correspondence with cricket authorities in June 2018, the woman claimed she was offended by “Mr Paine’s sexually explicit, unwelcome and unsolicited photograph of his genitals in addition to the graphic sexual comments”.
She’s 100% correct about the dick pic

But claiming unwelcome comments while also engaged in sexting is a bit rich

i mean, if sending someone a picture of your dick isnt a breach of a code of conduct then they might want to look at that
Yeah, this is true - it feels like something that should've been better addressed at the time. I'm on the fence about the whole text exchange though. He definitely upped the ante from flirtatious texting to sexually explicit texting (which I imagine she wasn't comfortable with that escalation), but an unsolicited picture of your junk is a whole different kettle of fish.

From his statement, it seems like he was honest with his wife about it when it all happened, so at least that's a redeeming quality. But seriously, just keep it in your pants. You've made a commitment to your wife - honour it. I don't have much time for people that cheat on their partners. It's pretty base level decency not to.

Every sportsman from every sport will eventually have to stand down and apologise for what they did years ago. What a joke the world has become.
Please, it's not the world's fault he sent a dick pic to a woman. Believe it or not, I've made it this far in life without ever sending an unsolicited dick pick, groping a woman, racially abusing someone etc. Being held to account for shit behaviour isn't a problem, shit behaviour is the problem. And where people are genuinely sorry for past poor behaviour, people are generally forgiving and move on. Stop trying to paint people doing shit things as victims.
