Not I, unfortunately. Solely because I'm currently living 300km away. But several of my friends did.
While I'd have loved to have been there I can't complain, I've seen them probably 35+ times and I'll see them again next time they play in Melbourne. They released their new album/DVD of their previous gig that I was at. I was interviewed as a part of it and have just found out that I'm in the extra features. WOOHOO! Thats a must buy for me (not that I wouldn't have bought it anyway- I've got every TISM album). I admit it, I live a sad existance.

After the gig I actually spoke to the Asian chick who got onstage. She said she was nervous as all f**k getting up there. A mate of mine managed to grab himself a novel souvenir while in the mosh pit...Originally posted by w00dy
i was there had a great time... never seen them before, cos i'm a youngun (18), but heard good things about them so i went... and they were awesome... loved the whole tism idol concept... bought the white albun, and wanted one of those shane crawford t-shirts, but couldn't afford both...
Nah, a mate of mine watched it on the weekend. He and his girlfriend were on there and I was standing in the background, but they scrapped the interview they did with me. Must've been because when they asked me what I'd do if TISM broke up I answered that I'd probably just slash my wrists and lie in a hot bath for a couple of days. Obviously some people might take me seriously.Originally posted by w00dy
on the special features? i watched that today... you weren't the dude who was crying cos they thought tism broke up were ya?

Hell yeah! Machiavelli and the Four Seasons is the personal favourite, followed by Great Truckin' Songs. The later albums are guarenteed to have at least one or two really good songs on them and they're always good for a laugh.Originally posted by mansize rooster
there a funny band thats good for a laugh..but every album lol
Did you go to Mazenod? I find it amusing that RHB would be a teacher. Still, several of my closest friends are teachers, and I know just what they're like, so I guess its not too surprising.Originally posted by HFC082
Ron Barassi was my english teacher!

How do you think the parents of kids being sent to a private school would feel if they heard some of the rants he's come out with? Was it Mazenod he taught at?Originally posted by HFC082

was she the pregnant one who was talking about how she was gonna educate her kid in good music?? or the one of the other ones...
Considering they're Vics, I doubt it. But you never know with TISM. Keep an eye on their website, they have tour dates on there well before you'd hear anything about it in the street press, and occasionally advertise 'secret' gigs on there when they're due to put out a new album.Originally posted by 1jasonoz
Next year i will be living in Melbourne, and i hope to make my first ever TISM concert after following them for about 12 years, and not seen one. Knowing my luck, they will call the non Victorian Australian tiour next year, just to p-ss me off.
AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!! And I'm moving back to Melbourne next week so I've missed another secret gig. I don't doubt it would have been good. TISM always go off in concert.Originally posted by w00dy
yeah, i figured one of those secret gigs would've been @ the tote on wednesday... on their website they said there would be special guests there, and you'd really want to go... wonder what it was like...
