Great fan, reading and posting on a thread that has nothing to do with the game while your team is playing in a final.
Watching a game, enjoyong a finals win and being amused that you are so upset of little old Greene for doing what most players do with a face when they are on the ground.

Cant you do more than 1 thing at once?

I can, I just prefer to actually watch my team than stare at my phone and type for the duration of it. Congratulations by the way.

I think he has some sort of mental disorder. Nobody in their right mind would do it again mere days after being gifted the softest of taps on the wrist.

I’m still absolutely shocked he got off his potential suspension following him grabbing Bonts face.

He clearly hasn’t learnt his lesson following what he did tonight to Neale. However the level of contact he made is just not enough to suspended him, I’d be shouck if he even got a fine for it.

One player I'd love to see lined up from the opposite side of the square and taken off on a stretcher.

Absolute parasite.

Blatant little grub. Again looked around to see if the umps were watching before going in for an eye gouge. bUt stupid enough to forget about cameras again

Seeing what you want to see, I don't see any fingers near eyes.

We've reached peak stupidity with this one, we've basically turned into a Twitter feed.

He ain't getting anything more than a fine for this, looks more like a fist but to me looks like force is not very high, especially on that reverse angle, I'd say less than low impact so maybe he will get nothing or a misconduct fine.

They could say intentional, high, low impact but that is a stretch and given its a pack and the ball is next to his head I am sure they would comfortably argue at tribunal that it's careless (which is just a fine).

In reality if it was another player that did the exact same thing we wouldn't be talking about it.

But he’s a good guy and there was no evidence of him touching Bontempelli’s eye?View attachment 746280
To be fair, his fingers aren't curved. Seem pretty straight to me

Bont doesn't touch his eye when he gets up either

Why are his hands anywhere near his face?

AFL needs to toughen up on this. If hands are on another players face during a melee or a brawl it should be an instant suspension. In this particular case he was third man in at a ballup. There was no need to even go to ground, play had stopped.

You shouldnt have to prove gouging. Contact with the face should be enough for a ban. Greene knows its impossible to prove gouging with bodies everywhere, and thats why he keeps doing it, as he knows/thinks he will get away with it.
