I said I don’t subscribe to the theory that they are role models. They’re football players, they’re not solving the problems of the world.

I should clarify that on the field, yes I condone it. It’s why I’m not hanging out Hodge to dry for his firearm to the throat. I wouldn’t walk up to you on the street and do it; but across the white line and on opposing sides yeah; it’s a contact sport.
