He didn’t poke his fingers, you need to comprehend that.

And as long as they don’t gouge eyes and it puts their opponent off their game, he’ll yes. I’d encourage it.

Do whatever it takes to win the battle over your opponent.

And I’m all for competing to win.

You probably get excited over your kids not keeping score and that new world theory that “everybody wins” in the game of life.

Which to me, is more offensive than an eye-gouge. (Not that Toby gouged, mind you)

Father of the year award for u mate lol. Great to see you are setting a good example for the young ones. FWIW, I teach my son to play hard, but play FAIR.

Greene will be pleading not guilty to the charge of making contact with the eyes of Lachie Neale. If this charge is not overturned, Greene will also plead not guilty to intentional conduct and will look to downgrade that charge to careless.

The Giants will look to call Lachie Neale for evidence, as the footage is obscured and subsequently inconclusive.

The AFL's legal counsel, Nick Pane QC, will look to block the Giants' application to call Neale for evidence - saying the vision is conclusive.

Wasn’t he an AFL executive??
Football operations manager

Anderson was a major playmaker in the introduction of the AFL's illicit drugs policy and, the issue that has perhaps caused most controversy among the AFL fraternity in recent times, he helped oversee a revamp of the AFL's tribunal system.

In 2011 Anderson helped negotiated a new AFL players Collective Bargaining Agreement with the AFLPA and just this year paved the way for Free Agency in the AFL.

The Giants have also sought an application to call Lions coach Chris Fagan to provide evidence. Tribunal chairman David Jones has said he will see whether it is still appropriate to do so after Neale has been called.

Neale says he can't recall feeling anything to his eye region. He says he grabbed his face afterwards as his nose was sore.

Neale says it all happened pretty quickly, but says his eyes were fine.

Neale says he can't recall where the contact to his nose came from.
