Just wondering if anyone attended today main training session today?

"Just a quick report on todays training session.

Boys looked really sharp and very vibrant. Didak, Swanny, Thomas, Toovey, Leon, Johnno, Dicky and even Mcarthy all trained very well and all delivered the footy with precision and trained the house down.

Fraser as we thought wasnt out on the track and I didnt see him down at the Lexus either. Spoke to one of the trainers down there, they said they would know more on Josh this Friday! Reserve AFL listed and the senior group all trained together and Marty Clarke told me he should be back very soon as hes been training well and been in the best for the VFL the last couple weeks.

The boys had a bit of a scratch match towards the end but nothing serious. There was alot of rotation during the match and once again the boys looked up and about. All in all was a great training session. Sorry for lack of detail.

I did site someone down the Lexus Centre after training though, said a quick hi and asked him was he coming out of retirement. He replied, "yeah for the finals" LOL! It was TONY WOODS

I'd probably say Bryan for me.. but the likely outcome if Josh doesn't get up is Wood to take over..

First time i can remember since fraser's injury earlier this year that bryan rucked in the VFL and actually rucked ahead of keefe. Plus the report that wood spent time on the bench and up forward in the last qtr or so

Leads me to think both will play, just a gut feel though

Nice thinking there Opti.
I just finished reading the VFL report and was thinking which would play.
I hope Wood rises to the occasion. We need him to start showing some wide eyed enthusiasm.

Wood and Bryan combo for Fraser and Brown sounds good to me.

Bryan didn't spend much time in the ruck at all in the VFL last week. He was 90% of the game at FF from my recollection.

Wood and Keefe interchanged off the bench a lot but later in the game both spent a little time up forward.

Wood is a certainty to play if Fraser is out. Not sure about Bryan though. Hawthorn's ruck division are not all that damaging around the ground so tactics will no doubt be important.

How did McCarthy train? Didn't see him listed in the VFL side in the paper although I could be wrong
