Because we dont play until Sunday, the team that will be named tonight will be nothing more than a large squad of available players.

I feel cheated.

I love to see and discuss exactly who is coming into the team especially any of the first gamers rather than just a whole lot of generalisations and possibilities.

We wont know the final line up till Saturday and being a long weekend that information may not get out for quite a while.

I know it is not possible to know the final line up till then but it still.... sucks..

Im with you Rusty.

I mean its round 1, surely they have had enough time to decide on teams by now. I think it builds hype if say Rioli is named. By having an extended bench just builds frustration!

It does suck but the boys would most likely be holding a friday training session where theyll finalise the team.

I hate Sunday games, esspecially the way we use to always get jipped in having them. You never know the full team untill friday or sat.

Sammy said on SEN today that the team will be chosen tomorrow.

Correct me if i'm wrong but don't all teams have to be finalised b4 the first match??
How are you supposed to finalise your Dream Team & Super Coach side if you don't know if a player is playing. Lock Out is before the first game.

JM - I thought he was a bit of "receiver".

Anyway,

Dew for Hodge - can play both forward and back

Rioli for Crawf

Tuck for Lewis

Muston for Browny*

*Ok that wont happen but would have.

Murphy for Brown.

Also in

Clarke for Vanders

Dowler for Boyle (if Boyler is injured)

Once Crawford, Lewis and Hodge come back, can you guys see Tuck holding his place?

It definatly will be tough because the Coaches hold the players I consider as fringe quite highly. When Crawf, Lewis, Hodge, and Brown are back, I would think Tuck would have to hope to see a Osbourne, McGlynn or Clarke (who will never get dropped) to have a bad game or two.

I said prior to the season he will have a spot in our starting 22 by the end of the season, so I rate the kid highly even before his good pre season began. I think he can do it. I got him in my dream team.

Cheers. I've got him too but am unsure of his place in the team once those guys come back.
