We never get kissed on the dick by the umpires like the Eagles.
No matter what coach, gamestyle, season the umps will come after us.
Another prime example last week.
Also we do have a huge injury list, over 5 times the size of any other club.

You would be too with the injuries we have
But you have your huge home ground advantage to protect you and Shocking's rule changes.

THE UNWANTED 21ST CENTURY RECORD RICHMOND PICKED UP IN ROUND 4 AND 5 LOSSES

Richmond has achieved an unwanted record in their Round 4 and 5 losses to St Kilda and West Coast respectively.

That record is that no team in Champion Data history has ever kicked the first four goals of a game two weeks in a row but lost both games.

Champion Data has been the AFL’s official data partner since 1999, so no team has achieved the unwanted record that Richmond has in the last fortnight in the entire 21st century.

Daniel Hoyne – Champion Data’s expert analyst - revealed the horror statistic on SEN Sportsday with Kane Cornes and Gerard Healy.

“Sorry, Tigers fans,” Hoyne said on SEN’s Sportsday.

“But you’ve kicked the first four goals two weeks in a row and lost.

“No team has done that in Champion Data history.”

Richmond kicked 4.3 (27) to West Coast’s 0.1 (1), thanks to majors from Mykelti Lefau, Shai Bolton (two goals) and Liam Baker before the Eagles eventually ran out 109-70 winners.

In Round 4 against St Kilda, Richmond kicked 4.1 (25) to their opposition’s 0.2 (2), as Maurice Rioli, Lefau and Bolton (two goals) helped get the team off to a flyer before the Saints would win 60-67.

The Tigers will hope to start well again but play a consistent four quarters of footy when they next play following this week’s bye against Melbourne on Anzac Eve at the MCG.

Maybe this is what Tugging Tiger meant when using the term top 4….
