Who are the best five players in the APS for 2008? Based not only on the 2007 APS season but performances from external clubs (ie TAC Cup), give your honest opinion, free from your own school bias.

This is my Top 5:

1. Vickery (HC)
2. Lynch (HC)
3. Lisle (CGS)
4. Strauss (SC)
5. Kennedy (XC)

I know this includes a lot of talls but these are all game-breakers who can take a game by the scruff of the neck. Unlucky to miss out: Shaw (MGS), Cordy (GC), Martin (HC), Courtot (CGS), O'Sullivan (XC).

he missed a couple of games through injury and he had to fly to england for cricket before one games but i still think that he is probably the best midfielder along with Lees and strauss

i dont believe i ever said it was in the dictionary, and its italian dilect u fool it wouldnt appear in a dictionary. but i bet ur in the cool kid group at ur school so im sure the nerds are already on their feet.

Ahhh no need to ruin the reputation only conversation, but did anyone even think about Daniel Noonan. Besides the fact he won B and F for Xavier last year, he chopped Lynch in the haileybury match. Stop basing decisions on pure reputation and start looking at real performance

good call which other players figured prominently in best and fairests last year that are playing this year?

um i think lisle from carey won their best and fairest last yr
and also strauss was up there from scotch
they will both be back this yr

Strauss is number 1, he'll show his supreme talent this year, then take your pick between Vickery, Sammy Lees, Lynch, Kennedy, Noonan, Shaw and then a few of these year 11's could press for recognition. Hannebury, Cachia and that Scully kid can all play.

Lisle is okay, I didn't think he was very impressive in the games I watched him play (albeit only 1 or 2) and if it is the Martin I think you are talking about from Haileybury, he is a good player but not very tall. Some good players around, should see some get game time in the big league.
