I must say this Schache news doesn't excite me at all.

Snoop Dog is this a possibility?

All for Schache. Get as many potentially elite KPFs as possible and give them a little bit of time.

Scoop was reporting a minute ago that Watts has chosen Port.

Eddie on the Hot Breakfast this morning was saying Schache to Richmond. No idea how they'd get that done with no picks.

Lions want midfielders, Tigers have a few spare - Miles as an example.

Schache has nominated a preferred club. Who was it does anyone know ?

According to The Moron aka Matthew Lloyd on trade radio we won’t be getting Shache because we have no cap space and can’t afford him. However, we do have enough to target Adam Tomlinson and according to The Moron ge will be the only player we will attempt to get onto our list.

Now for the record I’m not saying we will get Shache, but if we can’t afford to get Shache due to cap space how are we getting Tomlinson?

Richmond have two first round picks. What are you talking about?

that would give them the father son and schache that would be all. would they be happy with this ?

Those picks are unlikely to be attractive to Brisbane given they’re likely to be eaten by an academy bid.

The Lions could involve another team for that pick.

Tigers have to use one on Naish don't they?

Logically speaking that's certainly correct, but I'd like to clarify was there more context? He is a moron, but he could have said it in the context that we're a long way down the path with Thomlinson so we won't have the scope to do both deals.

On Schache please pass Collingwood! This guy is so trumped up on the back of his draft position which, IMO, was a talent ID issue. At best his value is in that 20-30 range based on what he did in 2016 and we aren't in a position to pay a premium based on past draft price and form from 12-18 months ago.

Don’t mind scache, perhaps could play fwd with Reid and send Moore into defense as an athletic kpd with Dunn on the the gimps gorillas...

How Cox might fit would be the question...

Definitely need some pacey smalls in the fwd line

Not necessarily. They can use a combination of later picks to mean up the points. The only rule is you can only utilise picks that you would realistically use (I.e if you have five list spots to fill you can’t use any picks past your fifth pick). If necessary you can go into deficit for the following year, but no club has actually done that yet.

How can our salary cap be in that bad a position at all , i must be missing something. or has it been seriously missed managed, i understand the whole Mayne and Wells thing but thats only 2 players yeah its not great but they came on last year if they were all the room we had in the cap and we spent it on them and then on long deals that would seem absolutely unbelievable like self sabotage unbelievable.

There are plenty of morons who think player X is worth pick Y because he was an early draft pick .

Francis and Schache fit this. 2 years in the AFL and clubs can see their real value. In hindsight both of these were 'overdrafted'.

If there is an early bid they'll have to use one of them.

Would be interesting what dollars their existing contracts are worth; at a guess I'd say Shache was re-signed on a higher figure. GWS also reportedly have salary cap issues (Palmer wage dump to Carlton, looking to move on Griffen).
