Six of one......That’s not a DFA, that’s just standard practice to transfer a player from the senior to the rookie list.

Not really. You’re talking about a club committed to the player, but just transferring him to the rookie list vs a club completely delisting a guy and another club taking a chance on them. Very different scenarios.Six of one......
Yuck. He should have never been drafted. The one you're missing is Pittard.
Id take him too - allows Maynard to spend time in the midfield and replaces Mayne if required - depth player.
Elliott is part indigenous? The lack of indigenous talent on our list is concerning IMO, pretty sure Elliott is our only one after Varcoes retirement.
Elliott isn't indigenous... We currently have none on our list. The lack of indigenous talent on our list is concerning IMO, pretty sure Elliott is our only one after Varcoes retirement.
Pretty sure he is mate.Elliott isn't indigenous... We currently have none on our list.
Pretty sure he identifies himself as being indigenous.Elliott is part indigenous?
Wasn't having a crack here either, legitimately did not know.Pretty sure he is mate.
No sorry he isn't.Pretty sure he is mate.
Not really, he was delisted, just because no other club took him as a FA doesn't mean he wasn't one, Cats took him back with their second overall pick in the rookie draft. Not really. I’d happily take talent of any race. The lack of indigenous talent on our list is concerning IMO, pretty sure Elliott is our only one after Varcoes retirement.
Can you link something to confirm this? I’ve never heard of anything of the sort about him and a quick google search yeilded nothing. Gonna have to say you’re wrong on this unless you can actually show something.Pretty sure he identifies himself as being indigenous.
He was delisted because it’s the only way to transfer a player to the rookie list. Clubs purposely avoid taking players in the rookie draft if their club has committed to re-drafting them. This is standard practice. He was never available as a DFA. No idea why you’re trying to say otherwise. Not really, he was delisted, just because no other club took him as a FA doesn't mean he wasn't one, Cats took him back with their second overall pick in the rookie draft.

Agree. But at the same time, I'd love us to nab a couple of pacy skilled small forwards, and there does seem to be some sort of genetic or cultural thing that seems to make many indigenous kids really suited to that role, so if we add a couple of the best available pacy skilled forwards, there's a fair chance we'll be adding an indigenous kid or two.I’d happily take talent of any race.
Bloody oath. Get ‘em in.Agree.
