With thanks to Tiger71 Grockadoc & Michaels live show last week we have an understanding of who is on our radar for trade/free agency at the end of the year.
For those that haven't seen the show those names were:
Harley Reid - we have strong interest in bringing him back to Victoria, along with every other Melbourne club it must be said.
Tom De Koning - identified him as a potential Nankervis replacement and have the money to throw at him to at least make him think twice.
Kai Lohmann - Lions player we've had interest in for a couple of seasons.
Matt Rowell - rumor that the Suns may look to let 1 of Rowell or Anderson go and we're having a look.
Now it should be pointed out that none of these names are locked in as coming to Richmond, but they are the names that we have strong interest in at this stage.
The other bit of news from that show was that we're also looking at keeping our 2 x 2025 R1 picks given they're likely to be both in the top 5-7 range, however we are looking at possibly trading out either/both 2026 & 2027 R1 picks for established players. We can do this without hurting our list build as we took the 7 R1 picks this year as well as another 2 in 2025, which means we could be well placed to be aggressive in the trade market for someone who may be contracted or not a free agent like Harley Reid.
