Home Timber and Hardware are on the hunt for Australia’s proudest, most passionate and dedicated tradie. If that's you then upload a pic and tell us your story (in 100 words or less) to be in the running to be crowned ‘2016 Tradie of the Year’ and score yourself $25,000.
Here are a few of example entries to give you a taste of what we’re looking for:
“I love my job as a builder - and I can’t switch off when I get home. I’ve got a shed full of projects that I tinker away with in my spare time. Among other things, I’ve built an epic treehouse and a custom pizza oven for the family.”
“Being a carpenter is rewarding but I was looking for something more. So I’ve started teaching a few skills at the local Men's Shed on the weekend. It’s really rewarding, for them and me.”
