Hi guys,

Still a way off but just wondering if anyone can tell me the best form of public transport to get from Surfers Paradise to Brisbane for the game in April? Back in August we drove up but for this trip we are thinking we may not, so we can have a few quiet ones.

Has anyone any idea how long it would take via train/bus or is it just not worth the hassle?

Cheers :thumbsu:

you want to fly up to queensland, yeah?

Gold coast has an airport now, if that is the case. Just found out it is much cheaper to fly to gold coast airport and hire a car there to get to byron bay than it is to fly to balina airport, for instance.

Gold Coast airport has been there for a very long time. :D

I fly alot from Melbourne to Gold Coast, and Tiger is normally the cheapest. You can always get flights Melbourne to Gold Coast cheaper then Melbourne to Brisbane.

What are your experiences with tiger? Ive heard a lot of bad things

Never had a cancelled flight. Few times had a hour delay here and there. Had more issues with jetstar flying Melb - Gold Coast.

Those who flew Tiger to the Adelaide match last year won't be recommending it...cancelled flight home on the Sunday night and then a 5 hour delay on the Monday flight...
