Not really, if there is a blatant cheat he needs to be exposed. There is no way of defending a 17:1 count.

Just looked at his profile and he is certainly not rated by the AFL umpiring department. Since his debut in 2005 he has only managed 150 games in 11 years and just 5 finals. Certainly looks like he has been average for a very long time. He is the AFL umpires version of of a spud! Wont umpire finals.

Averaging just 15 games a season is pretty crap for an umpire. Says a lot about the mans ability to umpire at the top level.

I reckon those umpire stats are some of the stats that only the coaches get. Someone said the original tweeter used to work for us.

I think this may be what Pyke was referring to when he said they had some questions for the umpiring committee this week.
