I would give my left nut to have heard a Port player come out and be this open and honest after a few of our games over the years.
I love the way he delivered the message that the ref "was a fücking dick who's out to personally fück me over" in such a calm, rational, level-headed manner.

What Bill says about the NBA here is how I've felt about the AFL for a while. It's pretty obvious they make an effort to "even up" games. Remember 2015 at home against the Hawks when we were 10 goals to zip in the first half? Beginning of the third, they get two 50's to put them in front of goal and it was never clearly explained why.

As a football fan I would not agree I go to watch the players. I go to my club. The players are secondary. The umps don't even factor in. Unless they were paying free kicks against habitual stagers. That would get a cheer.
