And I'm reminded of it every time our bus to Adelaide Oval has to jump that stupid curb turning into Barton Terrace because Moran didn't want the unwashed plebs from from the western suburbs using her leafy wide avenue as a short cut to North Adelaide.

Edit: googled 'Moran and tennis courts' and it came up with a google maps link to her Mills Tce house. Also linked to a story where she said she doesn't even bloody play tennis but has been singled out for attacks just because she lives across the road from them. This hounding of the underclass really has to stop.

I lived there when they did that, was working night shift at the time and came to the corner usually around 5-10mins before the time you weren’t allowed to turn in (maybe 7 or 7:30 am?) on my way home. Once in a blue moon if I got stuck back i hit it right at that time on the dot. One time making the turn at something like 7:03 I got pulled over by the police, explained that I lived on the actual street (so not using a shortcut I lived just off the bloody street!) on my way home from night shift didn’t want to add 15mins to my trip driving around the block In peak traffic.

Bloody campaigner gave me a written warning and said he didn’t care if I lived there or not and told me I had to drive around to enter the other side of the block.

The absurdity of it.
