Got to 48 here in Dubai yesterday…..
Cool change today, a lovely 42….

Don’t go anywhere near the beach until October or November now. Burn your feet on the sand and swimming in hot water is no fun.

Also another fun part of living here. Until later in the year our taps work backwards. We turn off the hot water service (which is in the ceiling) and the aircon cools the water coming to the hot tap, the water from the cold tap is almost hot enough to burn you…

Kurt Cobain apparently liked a few of Grohl's songs, but also described them as boneheaded.. praise & slap was kinda his thing.

Cobain also used to stress if any songs he wrote sounded too 'pop' so went out of his way to make them messier.

Sounds like a fairly unnatural songwriting process from a dude more concerned with his image and brand than writing whatever came naturally to him.
