Sure can

But we are talking about this person. Good for him for finding romance. But if life was hard before this, maybe he needs to look in to why that was.

Edgie, this is such a lame attempt at being... well... edgy.

It seems like you're saying that Caleb is a bad person and doesn't deserve good things?
How about the woman he's with, does she count, or is she just an abstract concept in the scheme of things?

Besides...

Good for him for finding romance.

... isn't that what I just said?

Calm down HSV Maloo.

Cant have Maloo. Too many arguments with the missus about it's pronunciation. She reckons it is 'muh-loo' and I'm more of a drawling 'maaar-loo'. I asked my therapist about how she pronounces it as she drives a Walkinshaw Maloo, but she didn't answer.

Then you added in an extra bit about life being hard enough. If life is hard, it's because the people he idolises and the views about society he encourages, make it that way by design.

Jesus. Way to read too much into something.

Life is hard, regardless.
Not everything is about politics or lines of demographic demarcation.

I think really it starts and ends with caleb is weird, the chick is old and weird, the article is very weird and no one could possibly want to have known its contents.

Meh.

The government he'd like to felch more than his new lady friend, and their ridiculous notion that Australia should be the only country that provides no subsidies for auto manufacturing whilst bailing out everything else, is the reason my pool of names for hypothetical unlikely future children, is a finite figure, with no new suggestions and possibilities ever to be added.

So, I take that personally.

Defend him as much as you like. I've spent far too much time of my life living under conservative governance and I am no hurry for Caleb Bond and ilk to do everything he can to return that. I want a taste of what the boomers and gen X had.

Or maybe I just need a drink. Then we can restart the discussion about alcohol being a positive thing for some people. Sure couldn't make me any more insufferable.
