SPA UPDATE

...ok so compliance is ******* ridiculous. So bad that its threatening to derail the whole thing. A radical third option is now a thing.

Option 1) fence the spa with all its associated safety buffer zones, radically reducing pergola space and being super janky as the fencing has to envelop some window ledges which are "climbable objects"

Option 2) simply put the spa on a plinth of 30cm to make it 1.2m high, thus voiding the need for a fence BUT still need to fence the stairs up to it. Plinth would look ugly as s**t.

Option 3) go hard and get a swim spa that has a 1.3m high cabinet, needing no fence for anything but the stairs and no plinth. More expensive, takes up more space but awesome.

Just annex your neighbour's backyard.

The builder reckoned it was gonna cost $100k to redo my gold plated bathroom what an absolute rip, how am I gonna afford the tennis court and indoor gym when I've gotta build an enclosure around me jacuzzi? Soon there won't be any space to park the Koenigsegg
