Can’t trade draft picks during the draft, can’t use created players in career management mode only season mode

The list goes on and on.

The “they don’t have the money to do what other sports games do” just doesn’t fly when there’s a 1000 things they ****ed up on that are not only easily achievable, it’s amazing they haven’t done them. Things that aren’t really a cost.

There’s a selection for pronouns, but you can’t view a players height is probably the most absurd thing I’ve ever seen. Anywhere.

So I can make Charlie Dixon a she/her but the game doesn't know if she's taller than Jed McEntee

Yea it's social acceptance is so strong and ingrained it's a complete runaway train, it should cop the same heat as cigarettes if we were serious it's effects are worse and you'd basically cut violent & sexual crime by 75% overnight if it didn't exist.

Yeah but people have to have some vice suppose.

Warner will barely make another run this series now. Done all he need to so he can stay in the team
His personality & fukc ups aside it's weird how some players just never capture you, I'd rather watch Rashid Khan slog in T20 than five minutes of Warner's entire career.

I have a weird relationship with cricket I doubt I'd even watch it if it wasn't for growing up with it, the only explanation as to why grown adults would put themselves through hours of boredom & tedious commentary.

Was listening to triple m on the way to work the other day... And the chick was called Candice Warner... I'm like 🤔 why do I know that name...
😯 Oh get ****ed... Fresh FM it was.

Kerry OldKeefe was talking up some 17 year old who's played one Shield game as Warner's successor the other day. From NSW I understand.
Jake Fraser-McGurk has long term potential to replace Warner imo. Victorian but playing for the Deadbacks at the moment. He's still probably a few years away and has a long way to go but the potential is there as a 21yo.

I have never been indoctrinated and am clearly a sports tragic. But it’s a ****kng awful sport on the whole.

Though I do like the ashes sometimes. Though that is more to do with the history and stakes of the game rather than the sport itself.

On one hand we have a significant proportion of the population supporting decriminalisation of drugs, and another lamenting the existence and legality of alcohol, and they aren't necessarily different crowds.

Now I ain't getting in to nor do I want to start, an alcohol vs drugs discussion. The short answer is, I agree. People will always seek something of vice, be it mind altering substances or pleasures of the skin. I can't see it changing unless everyone becomes rich and has a nice house and nice car and no obligation to work and then we can indulge in the arts and sports and recreation all day, rather than seeking better living through chemistry.

My dream is to become rich.... Whores and coke

I would die quickly but happy.

I've gotten a bit back in to cricket lately after becoming indifferent to it. I think the carry on from the Poms in the ashes and Indians and world cup helped to bring back some investment. I'm probably more in to watching the poms fall over against a West Indies team that couldn't even make the world cup than whoever Australia is flat tracking at home though.

It's basically copious hours of extreme boredom peppered with an exciting or heated session once in a blue moon.

Literally some of the last things I would be doing if I was time and money rich...

But I'm a nerd.

I wonder if some mates would wanna come around and play the original V8 Supercars game with the murder and revenge storyline mode on PS2? Now that sounds like a good time.

That's why it is good. You can watch a test match without really watching it. It's the ultimate background tv. It's why I don't like T20 too. Every single shot and delivery counts in that. The non stop pressure is so exhausting it's boring. Give me a game of ebbs and flows where players can mess up but it doesn't really matter because there's time to fix it.

The clear reality is if you were doing the list of 'acceptable' vices from scratch pot would be legal, cigarettes still frowned upon for obvious reasons & alcohol would be illegal.. you'd struggle to find medical professionals disagreeing with this if they were being honest regardless of their wine collections.

What about sex work?

Every time I've tried cigarettes or pot, I've had nothing but a bad taste in my mouth. I don't get it. I'm not interested in going back to try again.
